The Bachelor Recap: Chris Soules Makes Out With Everyone, Jimmy Kimmel Crashes His Dates & More Top Moments
Jan. 28 2015, Updated 2:00 p.m. ET
The Bachelor may have not been the most dramatic this week (the bizarre Ashley S. was barely in the episode!), but it definitely had a lot of laugh-out-loud moments! Jimmy Kimmel made an appearance to plan the dates and crash them. He even had the “sister wives” put a dollar in the “Amazing Jar” whenever someone said “amazing.” As you could guess, the jar was full by the end of the episode!
From Chris Soules kissing most of the women to Jimmy’s antics, check out the top moments from The Bachelor.
What does Jimmy know about romance? Apparently not much since the late-night host picked CostCo for Chris and Kaitlyn’s one-on-one date! Although the duo had the task of picking up Jimmy’s groceries, they still made the best out of the down-to-earth date. After the shopping trip, Chris and Kaitlyn cooked dinner for the funny man. But as the duo made out in the hot tub, Jimmy ruined the sweet moment by asking Kaitlyn if seeing Chris in the Fantasy Suite with other women will be a problem for her. The Kaitlyn we all know and love responded, “You can’t take out a car without test driving it!” Chris and Jimmy definitely approved!
For the episode’s group date, the contestants participated in the Hoedown Throwdown, where they had to perform tasks like milk a goat, drink the milk, catch pigs and more farm-related activities. Although Carly had some serious competition from the built Jillian (whose super short shorts were censored for most of the episode!), Carly took home the win. Chris said of the winner, “I admire a woman like that.”
But the group date wasn’t drama free, as the girls noticed that Chris had been getting friendly with everyone! After kissing Carly then Amber, he said in his confessional, “There is a fair amount of kissing going on, which is the point of this whole deal. I’m here to find my wife and I’m trying to make it as real as possible.” But single mom Mackenzie felt that watching Chris kiss everyone made her smooch with him “not feel so special anymore.” That’s why she asked Chris during her one-on-one time, “Why are you kissing everyone else too?” Chris responded after hesitating for a moment, “Kissing is something that is part of a relationship. I don’t feel like it’s right if I don’t be who I am and put myself out there.” We have a feeling that didn’t help the women feel better!

During the second one-on-one date, Chris and Whitney decided to channel their inner Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson by crashing a nearby wedding. With the backstory that they’re engaged and a wedding gift in hand, the duo got past the maid of honor and danced the night away! Impressed by Whitney’s spontaneity and ability to lie on the spot, he told her as he gave her a rose, “Whitney you made my day. Everything about you, the way you carry yourself. This is incredible. You made this day beautiful. I’m grateful to have been able to be here with you.”

Instead of a cocktail party, the bikini-clad women flaunted their assets at a pool party. The change in plans was devastating to Ashley I., who couldn’t complete her “Kardashian” look. The day just got worse for the nanny. After Chris took Jade to his home – where they made out in his bed! – he found Jillian waiting for him in his hot tub. Although the duo had a lot of time together, Jillian wouldn’t leave when Ashley, Mackenzie and Megan asked to have alone time with him. Ashley cried to the cameras, “It’s so frustrating right now. If I were Jillian I would be like, ‘okay, I had my time. I had a good time so it’s your turn.’ It would be ridiculous if Jillian was the one to stop me from getting a rose tonight.”

When it came time for the rose ceremony, Ashley was the last person to receive the rose, while Trina, Tracy and Amber were sent home in tears.
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
