PHOTOS‘Bachelorette' Star Shawn Booth Admits Split From Kaitlyn Bristowe Has Been ‘Painful’

Shawn Booth is opening up about his split from Kaitlyn Bristowe. Earlier this month, The Bachelorette couple announced they had broken up after three years together, and now, Shawn is thanking fans for their support during the difficult time.
“I just want to thank everyone who has been so supportive of my relationship with Kaitlyn over the years. You’ve made me feel incredibly special, supported, and very loved,” Shawn wrote alongside an Instagram photo of him and Kaitlyn at Good Morning America in July 2015.
“So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. It truly means a lot,” he continued.
Shawn then admitted it had been a “painful time.” “And thank you to everyone who has sent their love & support during this painful time. I love you guys,” he finished.

Shawn and Kaitlyn met during season 19 of The Bachelorette. He beat future Bachelor Nick Viall to win Kaitlyn’s heart. Fans began to wonder if there was trouble in the couple’s relationship when Kaitlyn spent August in Canada with her family while Shawn stayed behind at their Nashville home.
Since the split, an insider told People the couple broke up because Kaitlyn “wants to be married and have kids.” “But it didn’t seem like they were on the same page,” the source claimed, adding that although Kaitlyn is “devastated,” they are still “on good terms.”
