Tamera Mowry says her husband Adam Housley left his longtime position at Fox News because of an uncomfortable working environment. On Tuesday, April 16, the Real co-host pointed to the anchor Laura Ingraham’s recent comments about the late rapper Nipsey Hussle as an example of the attitude that caused Adam to make a hasty exit from the network.

“This is the reason why my husband left the news,” Tamera, 40, told her co-hosts. “The issue with a lot of these opinionated shows is I feel like they’re more focused on riling people up with their state of opinion instead of reporting the news.”

“Whether you like Nipsey’s music or message or you can’t dispute what he did with his community,” she continued. “He did something great.”

“There is nothing funny about a man being murdered,” she added.

One day after Nipsey’s Staples Center memorial, Laura, 55, mocked him on-air. After misattributing a YG song to him, she sarcastically asked if the lyrics were “related to the lowest unemployment ever basically for African Americans.”

Rappers T.I., The Game, and Snoop Dogg have since called for her firing from the network. “We are NO LONGER laying quiet while you continuously disrespect our brother,” The Game, 39, wrote on Instagram.

Tamera’s revelation comes after Loni Love broke down in tears on-air while discussing her missed opportunity to meet with Nipsey before he was gunned down in front of his Crenshaw store.
