Tamera Mowry has debuted a new hairdo just in time for the summer. The Real co-host used Instagram to show off her look new look (which took ten hours to install) and to reflect on her Daytime Emmy nominations.
In the sun-kissed selfie Tamera, 40, wore a peach strapless top and had brown goddess locs adorned with gold cuffs.
Fans quickly flooded her comments section with praise and they weren’t the only ones. While showing off her new ‘do to the rest of The Real ladies, Tamera revealed that her husband Adam Housley adores her locs.
“The hair is hot! Love it on you...just stunning?!” one user told her.
“This hair is everything on you,” another person wrote.

Under the picture, the mom of two wrote, “Butterflies in stomach. The day has come! I’m so grateful to just be nominated for a Daytime #Emmy!”
This year, The Real was nominated for both Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show and Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host. Though they didn’t take home either award this year, last year they scored Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host.
“@therealdaytime has been one of the most challenging jobs I have ever done,” Tamera admitted. “Daytime TV is no joke; 4 am call times, being vulnerable with your opinions so a few can attack you, but many can relate. I do this for you guys”
