Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel secretly hired a private investigator to follow ex Kathryn Dennis for nine months in his attempt to gain full custody of their children, The Blast reported on Wednesday, July 10.

Thomas, 56, submitted a declaration from the private investigator in his court documents regarding their custody case.

The disgraced politician hired a company called Surveillance Technologies to “observe the activities of Kathryn Calhoun Dennis” from September 9, 2018 through June, 17, 2019.

The private investigator said they set up cameras at the two residences where Kathryn stayed and monitored her behavior with the children 24 hours a day.

The company has 40,000 photos and 10,000 videos they obtained from their surveillance.

The private investigator claimed that Kathryn had two different "paramours" spend the night on separate occasions.

Kathryn filed for primary custody of daughter Kensie, 5, and son Saint, 3, in October 2018 after Thomas was arrested on assault and battery charges in September 2018.

Thomas was accused of sexual assault by his former nanny. Kathryn has used the charges against him in their ongoing custody battle.
