Everyone around the world was affected by Paul Walker's tragic death in November 2013, but few people were probably more shaken up than his Fast & Furious co-star and close friend, Vin Diesel. Over a year later, Vin is honoring his "brother" by naming his third child Pauline.

Vin and Paul have been friends ever since working together on the first Fast and Furious film back in 2001. Since then, Vin called him a brother, and was visibly torn after news broke that the 40-year-old was killed in a tragic car accident in California. He immediately tweeted afterwards, "Brother, I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace.”

This week, on the Today show, Vin revealed that he has named his newborn Pauline in honor of Paul. "While I was in the hospital, the name that I will give you is... I named her... I named her Pauline." He shared this photo of his newest addition with fans on Facebook, along with the caption, "I hear babies crying, I watch them grow. They'll learn much more, than I'll ever know. And I think to myself, What a wonderful world..."

"There's no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord," the 47-year-old continued. "I just thought... I knew he was there and it felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world."

Just last week, Vin got very emotional while introducing Fast and Furious 7, which debuts this summer, at the South by Southwest film festival. Paul was in the middle of filming when he passed, and his brothers ended up finishing the movie on his behalf. "This was a labor of love," Vin told fans as he teared up.
