Guess that golden rose wasn’t so lucky. Bachelor Winter Games winners Ashley Iaconetti and Kevin Wendy have called it quits! According to Entertainment Tonight, the couple was struggling with their long-distance relationship (Ashley lives in Los Angeles and Kevin in Canada).
“It was a little weird to have to figure out a long-term plan so soon,” a source told the entertainment news show. "Ashley and Kevin were both really into each other, they just weren't sure if it was a forever thing. And it's hard to date long distance like that."
Ashley, 30, also confirmed the split, telling ET that she and Kevin, 33, planned to address their break up together on the next episode of her iHeart Radio podcast, “The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast.”
Just four days ago, Ashley shared a loving photo of her and her Canadian beau, with the caption: “the way @kevin.c.wendt wants to take care of his lady’s heart is so beautiful. ☺?.”

The Bachelor alum and Canadian Bachelorette star met on the inaugural season of Bachelor Winter Games. Audiences watched the couple’s whirlwind romance -- a first for Ashley, who has not had the best of luck on Bachelor spin-offs -- as the two seemed to fall in extreme “like” for one another, ultimately winning BWG. After winning, Ashley even hinted that she lost her virginity to Kevin following their time on the show.
To celebrate Ashley’s 30th birthday last week, Kevin posted a picture of his then-girlfriend with a heartwarming caption. “She has so many incredible qualities I’m learning about each day,” he wrote. “There is a reason she has so many friends and people around her that love her. She’s the most driven, motivating, and supportive person I know. She motivates me to be more. Smart, sweet, sexy and it’s her birthday tomorrow!!
