It’s official: Ben Higgins is the next Bachelor! The announcement doesn’t come as too much of a surprise for Bachelor nation, as Kaitlyn Bristowe’s runner up is perfect for the role. From his swoon-worthy looks to his personality, find out why Ben will be the best Bachelor ever!

He isn’t Juan Pablo Galavis. Unlike Juan, Ben is determined to find his future wife and not just a girlfriend! “I’m ready to share my life with somebody,” he told People. “And I’m not fearful of getting married. As soon as I can find that person, it seems like the better life will be.”

He isn’t controversial. Kaitlyn came under fire when she had sex with Nick Viall before the fantasy suite. But Ben isn’t likely to follow suit, as he admitted that the physical part of a relationship isn’t the most important thing to him. Kaitlyn even thought he was a virgin!

He doesn’t hold any grudges. Unlike Bachelor in Paradise villain Joe Bailey and Andi Dorfman’s ex-love Nick, Ben wished Kaitlyn all the best when she sent him home. “You have to be true to yourself, fair to the people involved,” he explained on Good Morning America. “I think Kaitlyn did that to the best of her ability.”

He’s great with kids. Ben made everyone’s heart melt when he taught a classroom of kids how sex works during a group date on The Bachelorette. “In the beginning, two people fall in love,” he explained. He even asked Kaitlyn to play the egg while he played the sperm!

He looks good shirtless. Enough said.
