Several pounds lighter and without his trademark beard, "The Hangover" star's look was very different from the Zach most of his fans are used to seeing.
The actor first debuted his dramatic weight loss back at the Oct. 11 premiere of his film Birdman.

But his appearance at the SAG Awards was the first time his weight loss has been put in the spotlight during awards season.
At one point in the night, Galifianakis even poked fun at his slimmer frame when he introduced himself after a camera panned to him during the show.

“I’m Zach Galifianakis ... I'm an actor?" the funny man joked.
Speaking to Conan O’Brien in 2013, Galifianakis credited his decision to stop drinking as one reason he was able to start losing weight. And he’s estimated to have lost close to 50 pounds over the past year. Looking good Zach!
