How to Get the Flawless Beauty Look From the BCBGMAXAZRIA New York Fashion Week Show!
Got ten minutes? That's how long makeup artist Val Garland told us the BCBGMAXAZRIA runway show beauty look would take you to complete in the real world. The models that walked down the runway were set with a natural, gleaming, "velvety" makeup look created by Sephora that is hard to not to fall head-over-heels for.
"You see it on the catwalk that there is lots of shine on the skin and that’s fantastic. But in the real world, we don’t want to be super shiny," explains Val Garland.

We can second that statement! Check out the tips, tricks, and product suggestions below to create the look at home.
- To create the skin base, Sephora used Marc Jacobs Beauty Genius Super-Charged Foundation, his Beauty Perfection Powder Featherweight Foundation, the Beauty O! Mega Bronze Perfect Tan in Tantric and the Josie Maran Argan Illuminizer. Val says she applied the foundation with a brush. The pros over at the Sephora tent suggest using a darker shade of foundation for the contouring process.
- To create the eye look, which is majorly focused on the mascara application, Val used a bronzer for eye shadow, a tarte EmphasEYES Rim Brightener, and two different mascaras. She explained that around three coats of mascara should be added to the top and bottom lashes. Then, using a brush, pat the bottom of your lashes to create an "invisible line."
- The nude lip look was created using Sephora's Retractable Waterproof Lip Liner and the Hourglass Femme Nude Lip Stylo in Nude No. 5.
Need another tip? Get a brush that's ideal for contouring, Val explains that this eases up the process that many find so difficult.
