One article of clothing that every fashion lover should have in her closet is a classic sheath dress. A sheath dress is one that’s meant to fit close to the body and typically has a conservative length falling around the knees. Not only does the fit flatter most body types, but sheaths are also normally simple and easy to wear through out different seasons. The sheath has always been a go to dress of mine. We’ve all had those days where we get a last minute invite to a party and don’t have time to shop for a new dress! We always rely on our trusty back up dresses, and for me that’s the sheath. I have about five sheaths that are well cut, in neutral shades, and simply classic. I love dressing them up with different accessories, and seeing how many looks I can get out of one dress.

Try looking for a great sheath that works for your body and skin tone. The beauty of this type of dress is that it works for many different style palettes. Say we have a standard black sheath. Add a pair of motorcycle boots for a more rugged look, or a sparkly statement necklace and embellished heels for a more glam vibe.

The Fall Fashion Trends Stassi is Loving Right Now

At a recent event I wore one of my favorite grey sheaths from H&M that I have had for years. I’m going through a minimalist vibe with my wardrobe right now, so I kept that jewelry simple and paired it with brown oxford-like platforms by Prada and my absolute favorite eel clutch that I found at a flea market.
