30 Days Later, Oscar Pistorius' Psych Evaluation Results Are Finally In
Oscar Pistorius is back in court after a 30-day pause. The murder trial has been halted several times over the last few months, most recently so Pistorius' mental health could be evaluated. The results of that assessment are in, and the trial is back to business.
A panel of doctors have found that Pistorius did not suffer from mental defect or mental illness that would have rendered him criminally not responsible for the offenses. If the doctors had found him mentally ill, the trial would have ended immediately. It turns out his anxiety issues were no excuse to fatally shoot his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
