Every girl dreams of Ryan Gosling calling their phone, but Christina Hendrick experienced it firsthand! The hunky actor is making his directional debut in 2014 and asked Christina to be a lead. While the two worked together on Drive in 2011, even Christina was surprised to get his call about How to Catch a Monster. She told Flare magazine, “Ryan called me and asked me if I was interested in doing this film and I said: 'One, of course, yes, and two, why me? And three, I don’t want to disappoint you.'"She continued by explaining how wonderful it has been to work with Ryan and how he has involved her in everything from casting to costume designs.
