Kate Gosselin and her 8 children are back with a five-special reality show airing on TLC beginning January 13 and it looks like life with the big brood is pretty tough.
“I feel so overwhelmed lately that its hard to stay positive,” Kate says in the preview clip for Kate Plus Eight. “They just have minds of their own and I surrender.”
The clip follows the 39-year-old as she tries to keep it together on a family vacation to Plymouth, Mass., a crab fishing outing in Maine, planning a birthday party for their dog and redecorating her home.

The show may also see Jon Gosselin, who divorced Kate in 2009. Photos from the family yard sale taken back in October showed Jon with the children and we're guessing it will air in a later episode. Looks like he took a break from all those DJ gigs and Tinder dates…
