Kim Kardashian Embraces Alice Johnson & Reveals Family Was Against Meeting With Trump
After years spent advocating for Alice Johnson's release from prison, Kim Kardashian has finally come face to face with the woman whose life she changed forever.
In a brand new interview with NBC News Today, 63-year-old Alice, who spent 20 years behind bars for a nonviolent drug offense, celebrates her freedom, and thanks Kim for meeting with President Trump to negotiate her release.
Kim, 37, wrapped Alice in a warm embrace, and explained how everything went down. While her family warned her that it may be a bad move to meet with the controversial president, she pushed forward on behalf of Alice, first chatting with Ivanka, and then breaking the ice with The Donald with a joke about Khloe's time on The Apprentice.
