Dina Lohan spoke to the New York Daily News on Thursday and told the paper about her daughter's post treatment plans.

The 50-year-old said she will be throwing a belated birthday party for Lindsay—she turned 27 years old on Tuesday—and that the Mean Girls star will then be concentrating on work and her court-ordered community service "away from the Hollywood spotlight."
“She’s not going to live in Los Angeles,” Dina told The News. “She will definitely start back home with all of us.”

Not surprisingly, the mom-of-four said Lindsay had a "very quiet" birthday celebration, surrounded by her rehab friends and "guardian angel" attorney .

“It was a very calm, low-key birthday," Dina said. "We couldn’t visit because it fell during the week, but we mailed her cards and gifts. We’re going to work it out to all go visit her again, and then we’re planning the pool party.”

And, how has Lindsay been responding to her latest stint in rehab—her sixth one in total?
“It’s been a long road, and she’s going to be fine,” Dina said.
