Meghan Markle Is A ‘Nervous Wreck’ As Family Drama Shadows Royal Wedding

Meghan Markle is barely keeping it together as her royal wedding nears!

On Thursday, the former Suits actress announced her father Thomas Markle would officially not be attending this Saturday or walking her down the aisle. The news came after her father confirmed he received heart surgery on Wednesday and would not recover in time to make it to England.

“All of this stuff with her dad is extremely bothersome but she is just so relieved that he is okay,” a source close to Meghan told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

However, one person has been a constant source of support for Meghan, her mom Doria Ragland, who flew into London on Wednesday.

“Meghan would not be able to handle all of this stress without her mom there,” the insider explained. “Doria is one of the most grounded women ever and can calm Meghan down more than anyone.”

According to the pal, Doria and Thomas are on “amicable” terms. The former couple has been divorced since 1987.

Another insider said Prince Harry has been just as supportive. “Harry isn’t bothered at all by all of this drama that is going on with her family and told her he doesn’t care about any of it,” the source explained. “She feels like she is letting him down and he assured her that it is not the case. He is used to causing a stir and is going to love her and stand by her no matter what!”

After Thomas pulled out of the wedding, Kensington Palace announced Meghan’s future father-in-law Prince Charles would walk her down the aisle.

The wedding is this Saturday, May 19th, at Windsor Castle in England. Over 100,000 people are expected to fill the town of Windsor, where wedding preparations are well under way, for a glimpse of the bride and groom.
