Miranda Lambert’s Married Boyfriend Evan Felker Files Motion To Speed Up Divorce
Evan Felker wants out of his marriage and he wants out of it now!
Miranda Lambert’s still-married boyfriend, 34, filed a motion on Tuesday, May 15, to speed up his on-going divorce from his estranged wife, Staci Nelson, OKMagazine.com has learned.
In the filing, Evan stated if a scheduling order was not entered, Staci would unduly delay the matter.
However, a source told RadarONLINE that she wants their marriage to end just as quickly, if not quicker than her ex.
“Anyone who actually speaks to Staci knows she has wanted out of this marriage for months,” said the insider, before speculating that Miranda could be the one behind Evan's move to speed up his divorce.
“Evan is the one who disappeared again and changed his phone number," the source claimed. "They both planned to end this quietly. Staci has never wanted to go to court and Evan told Staci he did not want to either, so there is probably someone a little more powerful dictating all of this.”
Evan’s filing comes after his wife shared a “public service announcement” on Instagram that seemed to reference their split last month.
“PSA: If Staci Felker can make it through this week, so can you,” she captioned a teary-eyed photo of herself days after news broke about Miranda and Evan’s relationship.
According to reports, Evan and Miranda began dating shortly after she split from her boyfriend of two-years, Anderson East.

While Anderson didn’t confirm their break up until April, Miranda and Evan reportedly started dating months before while on the "Vice" singer’s Livin' Like Hippies tour.
A source recently told People, Evan fell for the Miranda after just two days of touring — and spent the following months leaving his wife in the dark about his relationship with Miranda.
“People are making it seem like, ‘Oh, they got close while they were on tour together,’ as if the tour was six months long, but it was three days, and the first two of those he was still acting like he was in love with his wife,” the insider claimed, adding that Evan “didn’t even call home the third night.”
Even after the tour, the source claimed Evan continued to travel with Miranda, only emailing his wife, “I’m not coming home this week.”
Evan “full-on ghosted” his wife, who was blindsided by his divorce filing on Feb.16, the insider alleged.
