Former 'Southern Charm' Star Thomas Ravenel Arrested in Charleston

Former Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel, who quit the hit Bravo series back in August, was arrested in Charleston on Tuesday morning.

Greenville News reports that he was charged with assault and battery second degree. A spokesperson with Charleston County Detention Center said that he will either be going to a bond hearing at 2:00 PM or 7:00 PM later on in the day.

The arrest was made on the basis of a warrant. He "surrendered" himself in at 9:00 AM this morning. This was due to an incident that  stemmed from January of 2015.

Thomas announced he was leaving Southern Charm after a wave of multiple rape allegations surfaced earlier this year. The relationship between him and girlfriend Ashley Jacobs also ended last month. Story developing...
