Amanda Bynes Denies Being Fired From Owen Wilson Movie

Amanda Bynes has hit back at talk that she was dropped from the cast of Owen Wilson and Christina Applegate's new comedy Hall Pass.
The rep for the recently-retired actress rep tells E! News that Amanda was not kicked off of the comedy because of bad behavior, as reports have suggested.

The rep also denied the claim that the 24-year-old's agent arranged a "mini-intervention" for Amanda.

"Both reports are false," the rep said. "Amanda left Hall Pass due to a scheduling conflict." The official word from the studio is that they "mutually agreed" to part ways for that reason.

Amanda announced her withdrawal from acting on Twitter on Saturday: "Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem. If I don't love something, I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore, so I've stopped doing it."
