At a time when her family has seemingly been under fire from all sides, Kourtney Kardashian's second pregnancy with boyfriend Scott Disick has supplied a much needed ray of sunshine for the entire clan. But for younger sister Khloe, the joyous news has also underscored her biggest disappointment in life — that she and her husband, pro basketball star Lamar Odom, have yet to conceive a child of their own despite trying since they were married two years ago.

Now Khloe is ready to take more aggressive action in her quest to make her ultimate dream come true, a source tells Star. "She's tried everything to conceive, so now she's considering taking other steps to make it happen — and that includes looking into the possibility of having a surrogate carry her child. Nothing is off the table."

Khloe, 27, and Lamar, 32, "are madly in love, and she desperately wants to have a baby with him," says the source. "And the fact that he fathered three children with his ex, Liza Morales, has only made Khloe's lack of success more painful. She feels like the problem must lie with her."
