She’s famously private about her relationship with her husband, but last night Grammy award winner Beyoncé told Jay-Z, “I love you.”
The couple, who married in a quiet ceremony in 2008, refuse to discuss their relationship in public.
But at Sunday’s Grammy show, a humble Beyoncé, 28, admitted she was “nervous” as she collected the award for Best Female Vocal Performance.
She then addressed the Knowles clan and her partner of eight years. “I’d love to thank my family for all of their support, including my husband. I love you.”
Beyoncé tied a record for most wins by a female performer after taking home five trophies, including Song of the Year for “Single Ladies.”
Later she was seen wearing 3-D glasses, clicking her fingers and dancing in her seat to the moving Michael Jackson tribute performed by Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Celine Dion and Smokey Robinson.
