When you’re Lady Gaga you can make the rules and break the rules whenever you want. Instead of releasing her new single, “Born This Way,” on Sunday, Lady Gaga’s letting it come out early on Friday!
Lady Gaga had a change of heart on Monday and shared the news on her Twitter.
The singer previously Tweeted six days ago that she would debut the song at the Grammy Awards, writing, “So many nights I’ve wept, too many thoughts to say. But now it’s less than 12 days left, till I was Born This Way. X Mother Monster.”
But now her “Little Monsters” don’t need to wait as long!
“Fans can expect all the hype to be true with ‘Born This Way’ and with the album,” Perez Hilton, who’s heard the song, told MTV News. “And you know what? It is a very gay song — unapologetically, gay-in-your-face gay — but it’s also a universal song that can relate to everyone. To all of us outsiders, to all of us freaks, to all of us who feel different. And the music is undeniable. It sounds like a smash. It is a smash. It is one of the best songs of Gaga’s career.”
