Another week, another elimination episode! Last night on Dancing With the Stars, David Arquette departed the show on a high note, saying he learned a lot and "it's been a really positive experience."
Although he said if anybody ever asked him about joining the show, he "would totally encourage them to," David told reporters the jury's still out as to whether or not Courteney Cox would compete for the mirrorball trophy. "I don't know if she would. I think it would maybe too much. It's really a lot. You have to really want to challenge yourself to do it."
Even with rumors swirling that Pee Wee Herman might do the show, David would give him a few words of wisdom. "I would just let him know how insanely difficult it is but he would be amazing on this show if he wanted to do it. Now what I really have time to go do is to occupy Wall Street (laughs)!"
Looks like David's not the only bummed Arquette to be leaving the ballroom. How about Coco? "She'll be said," he said. "She really enjoyed the experience but she'll be happy that I can take her to school again because that's what our favorite thing is. I pick her up, I meet her at ice skating, I meet her at her play…"
So, what's next for the Scream star who said the show "brought a lot of joy into my life" — the Great White Way, perhaps? "I would love to do Broadway. That would be amazing. When you have time to actually rehearse something for more than four days you can really nail things and you kind of have more confidence and you're playing a character and it's a whole different level of performance."
