Designer Diane von Furstenberg hosted a special screening of The Weinstein Company’s upcoming film adaptation of the New York Times best seller Sarah’s Key in NYC on Monday. The host posed with author Tatiana de Rosnay and star Charlotte Poutrel at MoMA’s Celeste Bartos Theatre in celebration of the film’s release!
Diane seemed to be in an especially good mood and perhaps it had something to do with being the only American designer worn by Duchess Kate during her weekend in L.A.
Diane told reporters of Kate, “She is not a style icon, she is so much more than that. She is so sure of who she is and she never let’s go of that.”
The evening featured a special screening of Sarah’s Key, which tells the story of an American journalist in Paris, Julia Jarmond (Kristin Scott Thomas), whose own world is turned upside down while researching an article about the Vel’ d’Hiv Roundup in 1942 in France.
Also in attendance for the screening were stars Courtney Love and Malin Akerman who even posed for cameras together. Looking good!
Sarah’s Key opens July 22!
