Dancing with the Stars beauty Cheryl Burke is used to living her professional life in front of the cameras, but if things work out the way she hopes, we will soon see a more intimate side of the pro dancer.
The 28-year-old is tired of being single and has enlisted the support of ABC to help her find love. She's in the running to be the new Bachelorette and she couldn't be more excited about it.
"I did meet with the execs but we'll see what happens. There hasn't been a firm offer, but if they offer it to me I would love to do it," she tells Us Weekly.
"It sounds crazy, but I'm so married to my work that I rarely meet new people! I'm around the same people all the time, I've been on this show for nearly a decade," Cheryl added.
However, even if she had time to meet people, she thinks she'd be better off having someone else tell her who to date.
"Over the summer I dated a couple of guys and it turned out all bad, so I just figured if someone were to make the choice for me then maybe I'd have a better chance of meeting someone good!"
And people think it's a great idea for her to add another reality show to her resume.
Her DWTS partner Emmitt Smith told Ryan Seacrest "[The Bachelorette] would be a great experience for her to understand more about herself," "Being on that show would probably give her a variety of personalities and let her find someone that truly fits her."
What do you think of Cheryl being the next Bachelorette?
