Friends fans will never give up on the idea of their beloved cast reuniting! Or about the show being revamped in some way. It seems they may just be getting their wish soon. Jennifer Aniston is reportedly working on a Friends revamp… for Broadway!
A source exclusively tells Radar Online that the former Rachel Green thinks a Friends musical would be awesome idea. “Jen has completely fallen in love with the idea of a Broadway-ready Friends musical,” the source says. Apparently, she’s already talked to her pal Sheryl Crow about creating ’90s-style music for the show, “which of course would feature an entirely new crop of actors playing young versions of the now 40-something Friends stars.”
Like which actors? How about the best singing actress around, Lea Michele? “Jen has told friends that Glee singing powerhouse Lea Michele would make the perfect Rachel in this project, and it simply becomes a matter of convincing Jen’s good friend, Warner Bros. executive Peter Roth, of the viability of the idea,” the source says.
