Kelly Killoren Bensimon issued a statement on her personal website, speaking out for the first time about her dismissal from The Real Housewives of New York City.
"I’m so grateful for the overwhelming support I’ve received from all of you. I hope you enjoyed my run on the show," Kelly shared in a short note addressed to The Real Housewives of New York fans.
She added, "Stay tuned for I’m just getting started."
Jill Zarin appeared on Good Morning America earlier this week to talk about her firing as well.
“It was a little jolting,” Jill said. “It didn’t feel good. Nobody likes to not be asked back to the party.”
