The stars dazzled on the red carpet before last night's Grammys, and they talked to reporters, of course! Kelly Rowland dished about the night — and Beyoncé and Jay-Z's new daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
First things first: Kelly told reporters she knew Jennifer Hudson was nervous to do a tribute to the late Whitney Houston, and Kelly and pointed out, "I don't know how she is going to contain her emotions."
As for her own favorite Whitney song, it's hard for the former Destiny's Child star to pick just one! "There's not one, there's all," she explained. "But 'Lover for Life' is a song I always sing in the shower and imagine I'm Whitney!"
Perhaps the fondest memory she has of the fallen star is for being so welcoming. She recalled, "The very first time I met her she was just so embracing. Because Destiny's Child had just come out it was around Grammy time, and she was just so nice to us."
Switching gears, when asked if she's seen Blue Ivy, Kelly nodded her head yes and added two simple words, "Yes, gorgeous."
