Kristen Stewart has been a wreck since word got out she hooked up with Rupert Sanders, her Snow White and the Huntsman director and the drama has really affected her. Not only has she pulled out of Cali, a film she was attached to, which will star Alex Pettyfer, but Radaronline.com is reporting she now won't be attending the London premiere of her new movie On the Road because she's too embarrassed to be in public.

The Twilight actress was scheduled to be at the event on August 16 to promote the movie, which is based on Jack Kerouac’s classic novel, but an insider told the site, “Kristen won’t be doing the red carpet for On The Road – she’s too ashamed to show her face in public right now."

But, that's not the only reason the 22-year-old doesn't want to make an appearance.

“Kristen is very proud of her work for On The Road, she grew up reading Kerouac novels and this is a production she always wanted to star in. If she appears at the London premiere, it will detract people from the movie itself and Kristen doesn’t want that at all," the source said.

In addition, Kristen feels uncomfortable being around her costar Tom Sturridge who is friends with Robert Pattinson.

"He’s very close to Rob and Kristen thinks it would be awkward for her to promote the movie on the red carpet alongside him," the source said.

Meanwhile, Rob is about to come out of hiding and face the press while he plugs his new project Cosmopolis. He'll first appear on The Daily Show on Monday, August 13. Later that night he'll walk the red carpet at the NYC premiere then on Wednesday August 15, Rob will be on ABC's Good Morning America.
