UPDATE: RHONJ's Teresa Giudice Releases Statement After Being Indicted on Tax and Fraud Charges With Her Husband
Pretty much all the drama of this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey revolves around Joe and Teresa Giudice's relationship with her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa Gorga, but aside from that, Teresa now has another issue to deal with—she and her husband have just been indicted for 12 fraud and tax charges.
The Giudices were in court in Newark, NJ this morning, where they have been accused of illegally obtaining mortgages, hiding assets, and other charges, which essentially means that they're being accused of lying to the banks and the IRS. Also, Joe is being charged for failing to pay taxes for a four year period beginning in 2004.

You can read the full indictment HERE. Teresa & Joe have been pretty open with the fact that they've had money issues in the past, and Teresa even released a statement today addressing the issue on her WhoSay account. She said:
"Today is a most difficult day for our family. I support Joe and, as a wonderful husband and father, I know he wants only the best for our lovely daughters and me. I am committed to my family and intend to maintain our lives in the best way possible, which includes continuing my career. As a result, I am hopeful that we will resolve this matter with the Government as quickly as possible. Thank you all for your kind wishes, prayers and support."

We all know that the Giudices have had money problems, but this is opening up a whole new can of worms. All we're saying is that we hope this stuff isn't true, but if it is, maybe we'll see how it'll all play out on season 6?!
