It's the night you've been waiting for — after a brief hiatus, Pretty Little Liars makes its winter premiere tonight!
When we last left Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Emily (Shay Mitchell), they were officially suspected of murdering Alison (Sasha Pieterse). Luckily, it seems that Spencer's lawyer mom worked some magic — the opener for the second half of season two finds the girls completing community service and navigating the new relationships they have with each other.
"They are definitely in trouble with each other because they are at such dire straits with each other that they all have differing opinions on what to do and what would be right to do," Troian tells OK!. "It gets in the way of a lot of really good decision making."
A clip released by ABC Family shows Emily anticipating a betrayal by Spencer — she's convinced her friend's mom will stop at nothing to protect her daughter, even at the expense of her friends.
One person enjoying the changes is Ashley.
"It just gets more exciting with all the storylines, but everything is really fun. It's really edgy," she tells OK! of the new season. "Our storylines have switched so much: new shifts, new boys, new girls, a lot of change."
Of course, fans have been eagerly anticipating the reveal of "A" for several months now; it was previously announced that the identity of "A" would be revealed by the close of season two in March.
