Real World: San Francisco Reality Star Passes Away at 44
Real World: San Francisco fans got some bad news from the show's cast member Judd Winick.
Sean, who was HIV positive, was just 44 when he reportedly died of the rare lung cancer mesothelioma.
In the early 1990s, Sean, an AIDS activist, appeared on the Real World because of his relationship with cast member Pedro Zamora. The two made history when they became one of the first gay couples to have a commitment ceremony on national television.
