The 2012 Country Music Awards nominees were revealed today and for the most part it was the usual suspects of all our favorite twangtastic musicians.
Country's blonde darling, Taylor Swift, is taking one for the fairer sex as the only woman nominated for the biggest award, Entertainer of the Year. Taylor is up against the far rougher Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton.
Taylor will also compete against Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Carrie Underwood for Female Vocalist of the Year. For the men? We have Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban duking it out for Male Vocalist of the Year.
