Summer is finally (really) here! With the regular TV season over and loads of lazy days ahead, we here at OKMagazine.com are trying to set some resolutions for the summer. Entertainment-wise, that is (we're not here to discuss bikini diets!). Here are the shows, music, and books we swear we're finally getting around to this summer!
"My goal in life (or at least for the summer) is to finally make it through Friday Night Lights. I started the series as Superstorm Sandy was approaching but promptly stopped once my electricity was turned off, and never returned to it. Time to get back on track!" —Emily Kanoff, Social Media Editor
"For as much as I reference Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf's perfect romance in my daily conversation habits, I must admit that I've never actually finished the entire Gossip Girl series. That is on my summer to-do list. I know that Chuck and Blair get married, but I have to see the storyline played out—mostly because I wish I was invited."—Victoria Moorhouse, Editorial Assistant
"I will make it to a New Kids on the Block concert this summer. I feel like I lost my die-hard fan status when I skipped the NKOTBSB status last summer (with all due respect to Backstreet…I just couldn't) so I'm determined to make up for it this year."—Kelly Bryant, OK! Contributing Writer
"There are two things on my summer TV to do list—catch up on Arrested Development and Mad Men. Arrested Development, because I feel out of the loop that there's a new season and I've never watched the old ones, and Mad Men, same reason. Just can't decide which to watch first!"—Haley Longman, Entertainment Editor
"I'm doing it. I'm rewatching all six seasons of Lost. A lot of people didn't like the way the series ended but that can't be the way we remember it forever. We have to go back."—Lea Palmieri, Video Editor
"Um, I never read Gone Girl last year! Whoops. Between that and finally starting to watch Scandal, I'm hoping my summer looks like most people's did in 2012."—Kaitlin Menza, Senior Editor
