Three Ways To Make Chicken Wings For Super Bowl Sunday

In the immortal words of Outkast, "Aint no thang but a chicken wang." Those words will ring so true this Sunday when, according to the National Chicken Council, Americans are on track to consume 1.24 billion chicken wings while watching the Super Bowl. Make sure yours are standouts with one (or all!) of these delish wing recipes.

Gochujang wings

Oven-Baked Chicken Wings with Annie Chun’s Gochujang Sauce

Ingredients

1.5 lb chicken wings (or about 12-15 chicken wings)

4 garlic cloves or equivalent chopped garlic

3 tbsp soy sauce

1 1/2 tbsp honey

1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar

1/2 cup Annie Chun’s Gochujang Sauce

2 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp sesame oil

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl until sugar has completed melted.

Pour mixture into Tupperware container or ziploc bag. Add chicken wings and marinade, making sure all the wings are coated.

Refrigerate and marinate for 3-4 hours.

Preheat oven to 425ºF. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the wings flat onto it.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning them over halfway. Baste the wings a few times with the marinade

When wings are crispy, remove from oven.

Optional: Drizzle with Gochujang Sauce, top with sesame seeds and green onions.

Chinese New Year Chicken Wings in Three Flavors for Good Luck

Ingredients

10 oz. chicken wings

Honey Soy Ginger Marinade

2 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Flavored Sauce

5 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce

1 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Minced Ginger or grated fresh ginger

2 Tbsp. honey

Char Siu Honey Marinade

1 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Flavored Sauce

4 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Sauce

2 Tbsp. honey

Chili Garlic Marinade

2 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Flavored Sauce

3 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce

2 Tbsp. honey

3 Tbsp. Greek yogurt

Directions

Marinate chicken wings in any of the three different marinades, or simply use three types of marinades for a combination of flavor profiles. Set aside in the fridge for two hours or overnight.

Preheat oven for 10 minutes. Put the marinated wings into oven and baked for 30 minutes at 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Chili Chicken Wings Still 1

Gourmet Garden's Chili Chicken Wings

Ingredients

1 lb Chicken wings or drummettes

1 Lime, juiced

2 Tbsp Gourmet Garden Garlic

1 Tbsp Gourmet Garden Chili Pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 425F. Cut off wing tip and discard, then cut wings at elbow joint; place on baking sheet. Or use drummettes.

Combine the juice of 1 lime with Gourmet Garden Garlic and Chili Pepper. Brush with marinade.

Bake for approx. 20 minutes, remove from oven and enjoy.
