Is MTV Axing 'Teen Mom 2' Because Of All The Jenelle Evans Drama?

UPDATE 11.40am PT: MTV has released the following statement to OK!:
"No decision has been made yet regarding a fifth season of 'Teen Mom 2,' but the network is planning to air the fourth season this year and will announce the premiere date soon."
Teen Mom 2 was meant to be a cautionary reality show of how a handful of high school moms navigate life after falling pregnant at a tender age.
But the troubled exploits of one of the young women, Jenelle Evans, has apparently now spun so far out of control that MTV bosses are reportedly planning on pulling the plug on the hit series because they are so concerned about the situation.
In just two months, the 21-year-old has got married, fallen pregnant, suffered a miscarriage and announced plans to divorce her husband Courtland Rogers. She also underwent another stint in rehab last year and has had multiple arrests — and all played out on Twitter for her near 640,000 followers.

Multiple sources have told the New York Post that the show is going to be canned because the network is worried Jenelle has become a liability.
But an MTV rep told OK! on Tuesday that they currently had "no comment" on the report but that an announcement could be made soon.
Another reason the show could be cancelled is the negativity surrounding Teen Mom star Amber Portwood who is currently serving a 5-year jail sentence on drugs charges and probation violation and the network's reluctance to have history repeat itself.
The fourth season of Teen Mom 2 has already been filmed and is due to be aired later this year.
