Amy’s father Mitch covered his face with a tissue as he cried on Anderson while being comforted by Amy’s mother and his ex-wife Janis.

“It’s hard for you,” Anderson said. “What do you think that bond was?”

“It’s really no different to the bond all you people got with your dads and your mums,” Mitch explained while fighting back his tears. “It was a wonderful bond.”

He added, “Apart from being father and daughter…we were best friends.”

What did you think of Anderson’s first interview on his new talk show?
