Brothers Mark Wahlberg and Donnie Wahlberg are all over the news these days, with rapper-turned-actor Mark about to be a new father and Donnie’s old-school boy band New Kids On the Block enjoying a long-anticipated reunion.

However, when we caught up with the man formerly known as Marky Mark, he told OK! that he likely won’t be bringing kids Ella, 4, and 2-year-old Michael to see their uncle Donnie perform live anytime soon.

"They’re probably still a little bit young for all that gyrating and stuff," Mark explained to OK! at the NYC premiere of his new film, The Happening, on Wednesday. "They went to The Wiggles concert, they went to the Doodlebops. And they just went to Elmo this weekend. That’s about their speed."

Despite the fact that the little Wahlbergs will be absent at the NKOTB concerts, Mark is still very supportive of his big bro’s music career. "I know my brother’s very talented. He has something up his sleeve."

Another brotherly connection — Mark’s new film, The Happening, is directed by M. Night Shyamalan, who had cast Donnie almost a decade ago in his hit movie, The Sixth Sense.
