Welcome to week 2 of Pauly D‘s tour diaries! He’s sharing the most fun moments on and off stage during his summer tour with the Backstreet Boys and Jesse McCartney. Check out his thoughts from these cities—including a stop back near the Jersey Shore!
August 12th – Boston, MA
I was so excited to play in Boston! It is the closest stop to my hometown in RI on this tour, and anytime I am there we get it poppin’!!! Everyone I know comes out and it is so great to see everyone. I hadn’t played a hometown show in awhile and playing one at this level was insane. It reminded me of when I was DJing the Britney Spears tour and when we hit Boston for that. After the show wrapped we drove straight through to NY.
August 13 – Wantagh, NY
The weather started off really rainy so we didn’t know if it was going to affect the show or not, but thankfully the rain stopped right before I went on and the crowd was packed. Even if it continued raining I don’t think it would’ve deterred them from coming out! After the show I had an after party, which was all ages, so I got to meet some of the fans who came out to the show and DJ for those who weren’t able to make the tour.
August 14 – DAY OFF
Today was my day off in NYC and the day I made the Forbes “Highest Paid DJ’s” list for the second year in a row, yeahhhh buddy!! As much as I love touring, it is nice to have a day off here and there to get some errands done and I did just that. I hit the diamond store—most important errand of them all was getting my watch fixed! Then it was over to my publicist’s house for dinner. I hadn’t seen her in forever so it was great to spend some time with her and my boys relaxing. That night it was a birthday celebration for one of my G-Unit family members. Jesse McCartney and his crew met us out too and celebrated, and you know I had to hit the DJ booth in the club. Couldn’t help it!
August 15 – Holmdel, NJ
Since moving to Vegas I a,m not on the East Coast that much, so it was really nice to come back for a good amount of time, see a ton of friends/family and DJ. Tonight in NJ was awesome. I filmed a show in NJ back in the day so the reaction I get here is huge. It is one of my favorite states to DJ in, hands down.
Next we have one more East Coast show then head to Virginia and North Carolina…stay tuned!
