Out with the old and in with the... old? That's what it sounds like, according to sources close to The Real Housewives of New York City!
"Caroline Radziwill and Heather Thomson are on a mission to get Aviva Drescher fired," the insider tells OK!. "Aviva can be direct, and the women feel threatened by the fact that she isn't afraid to come across as a b***h."
With Season 6 drama currently in full swing on screen and the cast heading into negotiations for next season, reports are circulating that Heather, 43, and Carole, 50, are pushing producer Andy Cohen to bring back Countess LuAnn de Lesseps full-time to replace Aviva. "Carole has been friends with Andy for a long time, and politics could certainly play into casting decisions," adds the insider.
A source in production, however, maintains that nothing will be absolute until later this year. "Bravo does test studies on each woman. Some of the greatest players can be fired, and some losers can be kept. No one knows the results until after the reunion films."
It's also unlikely that every Housewife will be rallying for LuAnn's return. Sonja Morgan, 50, notably failed to support her recent clothing launch—the Countess LuAnn Collection—and added insult to injury by plugging her own fashion expertise online the same day!
