ArchiveRHOC Exclusive: Tamra Judge Dishes On Shannon Beador's Husband's Affair—'I Respect Shannon For Bringing It Up'
On season 9 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, we got introduced to new housewife Shannon Beador, who at the time was pretty open about her marital issues. But in last night's season 10 premiere, we found out even more about Shannon's marriage to her husband, David. During a therapy session at a couple's retreat, Shannon tearfully admitted on the show that her husband cheated on her.

And who was the only cast member to know about David's affair before it got made public? Tamra Judge! Tamra talked to OKMagazine.com exclusively about Shannon's big reveal that is clearly huge news for both the RHOC cast and fans alike.
"Last year I touched on issues that were being brought up with them," Tamra said. "I knew about this last year. I knew that David was having an affair last year."
When asked why Tamra thinks Shannon came out with the affair now as opposed to a year ago, she said that "I think too many people knew about it and she was worried that it was going to come out."

But Tamra, who has been battling a nasty custody battle with her ex-husband off camera, gives Shannon a lot of credit for coming forward with her story on the show.

"I think that it's great of her and scary at the same time for her to share that with everybody," Tamra said. "She could’ve easily brushed it under the rug and said, 'Oh it’s a lie.' But the truth of the matter is it's very real."
Tamra also gave us an update on her current relationship with Shannon, who she's mostly gotten along with in the past.
"My relationship with Shannon is good now because she knew I knew last year about the affair," Tamra said. "I was the only one that knew last year. And everyone’s gonna go 'Oh, so Tamra was telling the truth!''"

And thankfully, along with their three daughters, David and Shannon are working through their issues.
"They're doing well," Tamra said of the Beadors. "I respect Shannon for bringing it up. It’s a tough subject to put out there on the air. It shows how real the show is that Shannon was willing to lay it out on the line. We'll see what else is exposed."
