Baldwin population has increased by one! Hilaria Baldwin and Alec Baldwin welcomed baby No. 5 on Tuesday, September 8, after suffering two miscarriages within a year of each other.
“We had a baby last night,” the happy mama captioned a photo on Wednesday, September 9, on Instagram. “He is perfect and we couldn’t be happier.”
Proud papa Alec looked on at the beautiful bundle of joy in the hospital. As far as a name, the Living Clearly Method author said “stay tuned.”

Hilaria announced in April that she was pregnant — four months after she suffered from a miscarriage — with baby No. 5. “I don’t have the words to express how this sound makes us feel,” the loving mom captioned an Instagram video of herself listening to her baby-to-be’s heartbeat. “Just got the great news that all is well and all is healthy with this little munchkin. I wanted to share this with you,” she wrote. “Here we go again.”
The "Mom Brain" podcast cohost told UsWeekly that she knew she was pregnant when she started experiencing mommy brain. “That’s my first hint. I’m somebody that is very physically capable. I can do my yoga, I can dance, I can do this, I can do that, but I became a disaster. I bump into things.”
The mother-of-five announced another pregnancy in September 2019, but sadly miscarried again two months later. “We are very sad to share that we learned that our baby passed away at 4 months,” she wrote via Instagram at the time.

“We also want you to know that even though we are not OK right now, we will be. We are so lucky with our 4 healthy babies — and we will never lose sight of this… I told Carmen that this baby isn’t going to come after all, but we will try very hard to give her a little sister another time.”
The former yoga instructor married Alec, 62, in June 2012. The happy couple share children Carmen, 6, Rafael, 5, Leonardo, 3, and Romeo, 2, together.
The SNL star is also the father of daughter Ireland Baldwin with his ex-wife, Kim Basinger.
