Camila Mendes Finds Love With Photographer Grayson Vaughan — See Their PDA Pic
Moving on! Camila Mendes confirmed her relationship with photographer Grayson Vaughan with a sweet PDA Instagram post on Thursday, September 3.
The 26-year-old Riverdale star shared with her 23 million followers a photo of the couple holding each other and kissing with a private jet in the background. Vaughan’s back was towards the camera as Mendes had her arms wrapped around his neck. She captioned the shot: “that long distance kind of love,” followed by a white heart emoji.
Many fans and friends were quick to jump to the comment section, sharing their excitement about the confirmed relationship. "FINALLY PUBLIC," the 13 Reasons Why star Tommy Dorfman commented.
Vaughan, 28, is a photographer and model who recently shot Mendes’ onscreen love interest, KJ Apa. While the love birds have been spotted out together since May — they were seen walking around L.A. and grabbing coffee — this was the first time the pair confirmed their romance.
Mendes previously dated costar Charles Melton, but the pair broke it off after a year to focus on themselves and their work. The brunette beauty disclosed to Entertainment Tonight that her former boyfriend used to write her love letters, calling him “a hopeless romantic.”
Melton had explained to PEOPLE last year that he is indeed a romantic who also believes in “love at first sight.” He explained, “It’s this hopeful curiosity of seeing someone and just being in awe and not being able to explain it, but there’s something that draws you to that person. There’s something you don’t know and it’s just a matter of you being vulnerable enough to explore that.”

JUGHEAD & BETTY: COLE SPROUSE AND LILI REINHART'S RELATIONSHIP HISTORY
Mendes, at the moment, is in Vancouver, Canada, where she is quarantining with her Riverdale costars as they try and wrap up the fourth season and begin season 5 of the CW series after production was shut down in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"You can't go home for Thanksgiving, can't visit your family," costar Lili Reinhart explained to Nylon magazine. "No one can come visit you unless they quarantine for two weeks."
However, the actress took to Twitter on September 3 to clarify her comment after stating she “genuinely feels like a prisoner” while filming in quarantine. “Love it when my words are taken out of context YET AGAIN,” the 23-year-old wrote on Thursday. “I’m not complaining about going back to work, I’m incredibly grateful to have a job. I’m sad that I can’t see my family for months on end due to travel restrictions. FFS, leave me alone.”
Despite the restrictions, the Riverdale cast seems to still be enjoying themselves as they already made a TikTok account for their fans, which showed off their dance moves.
