UPDATE 1:44 p.m.: A rep for Alec Baldwin, who was taken to a NYC hospital last night, tells OK!: "This was a misunderstanding on one person's part. Alec was quickly released from the hospital, he's completely fine and is at work today. If there was any real issue or concern, he wouldn't have been released from the hospital so quickly."
Alec Baldwin was rushed to a Manhattan hospital overnight after a caller, believed to be his daughter, dialed 911 to say she couldn't wake the actor.
Sources told NBC New York that when medics arrived at the 30 Rock star's Upper West Side apartment he agreed to go to hospital where he was treated and released after an hour.
Sources say that Ireland, Alec's daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger made the call, telling the operator that her father was unresponsive.
