These days, 29-year-old Ashlee Simpson pretty much stays out of the spotlight. She's a mom to son Bronx, 5 (with ex-husband Pete Wentz) and seems to be happy just laying low, planning her upcoming wedding to fiancé Evan Ross, 26, and being generally adorable.

But remember when Ashlee was the Next. Big. Thing? She was Jessica Simpson's cute, punky little sister with a scratchy voice, a killer sense of style and one hot boyfriend (HELLO, Ryan Cabrera!). She also had her own reality show, a hit album and a plump gig as an SNL musical guest—well, maybe we can forget about that last one.
