Jennifer Lawrence has won the Academy Award for Best Actress! She will now forever be remembered as the winner who fell going up the stairs to collect her Oscar.

No worries, the audience supported her with a standing ovation. "You guys are just standing up because I fell and that's really embarrassing!" joked a clearly shocked Jennifer, who starred in Silver Linings Playbook.

The actress was breathless as she gave one of the show's shortest speeches before leaving the stage.
