Britney To Be Booked In Hit & Run Case

Adding insult to injury, beleaguered pop star Britney Spears must be booked for an alleged hit and run that took place on Aug. 6. 2007,
an L.A. County judge ruled Tuesday. According to Frank Mateljan, a
spokesman for the city attorney’s office, “she must report to any LAPD
station” before her next court appearance on Oct. 25 where “she will be
photographed, fingerprinted and released” — a process he estimates

Britney’s attorney, Michael Flanagan, says Britney will comply with the
court’s decision. If convicted for the crime caught on film by
paparazzi, the singer could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000
fine for each count.
