It's hard to top Beyonce's epic 2013 Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. Bruno Mars had a large task before him when he hit the field last night, but do you think he did a good job? Let's look at the evidence.
Bruno Mars started the show with several little kids singing his hit "Billionaire." You can't deny kids singing! Then the man himself appeared on drums, before jumping onto the stage with the cutest dang band ever. His incredibly handsome band, clad in spangled gold suits, set the old-school, Motown-y sound for the show. After jamming through "Locked Out of Heaven" and "Treasure," Bruno and his boys were joined on stage by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The mostly shirtless rockers killed their big hit "Give It Away Now," then Bruno slowed things down by showing a montage of soldiers dedicating his sweet hit "Just the Way You Are" to their loved ones at home. Not a dry eye at my Super Bowl party!
