Christina Aguilera Speaks About 'Star Spangled' Fumble
Feb. 7 2011, Published 1:52 p.m. ET
As all eyes were on Christina Aguilera singing The Star Spangled Banner to kick off Super Bowl XLV, there was one little glitch. That is, the lyrics! Instead of singing, "O'er the ramparts we watched," Christina belted out, "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming." The five-time Grammy winner owned up to the faux pas by getting swept up in the moment.
